This facility is issued  by the Department of Telecommunications(Govt. Of India). A web portal has also been launched for this. Let us know how to find out someone else is using the SIM card in your name-

DoT(Department of Telecommunications) has launched a portal from the domain tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in. The database of all the active mobile phone  numbers operating across the country is maintained  in this portal.

Through this web portal, an attempt has been made to curb and monitor  spam and fraud. If you suspect  that someone else is using your mobile number in your name/aadhar card, then you can raise a complaint in this regard by using  this website. Let's know how to use this web portal.

The very first thing is to open tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in in your mobile phone/laptop/computer browser. After that enter your 10 digit mobile phone number. Now an OTP(one time password) will come to your phone number. Enter that OTP and validate.

After validating the OTP(one time password), you will get a complete list of all the numbers which are active in your name or aadhar number.

You can report any of them as per your doubt. After that the government will check the numbers which are running on your name and aadhar card  and for which you have complained.

tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in has been released for a few circles at present. Soon it will be released in all circles. A maximum of 9 phone numbers can be active on one ID, but if in this portal you can see a number which is in your name but you are not using then you can raise complain about that phone number. After that the government will block that number.
